FRIENDS OF FITZWILLIAM STATION
Station adoption groups add value to communities and make their stations welcoming and attractive. This can have added benefits, such as encouraging use of the railway and breaking down barriers to sustainable travel and helping to reduce vandalism. They also create a sense of community inclusion, where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to make a positive difference to their community and forge lasting friendships.
Friends of Fitzwilliam Station, was forming in January 2018, we are a group of local people that give of their time in various ways.
